books can be borrowed and taken out of the library
the loan period is 30 days
the limit for external borrowing is 30 titles
titles can be renewed a maximum of two times
the fine for overdue items is 2 CZK per item per day
an email notification is sent when the end of the loan period is approaching

self-service: a SelfCheck checkout machine is located near the exit from the LIC
front desk: librarians on duty at the front desk can issue titles you wish to borrow

Books, journals, daily papers and university theses intended for use as reference materials can be borrowed and viewed in the library’s study rooms. They may not be removed from the library.
